Video Rewind: White Mice By Mo-Dettes

I'm surprised this video had 20,000 plays w/o me being aware of it. Mo-Dettes' (pronouncd MOE, not mod) LP is one of my favorites of all time. 'White Mice' is like one of the best songs on it, although it's perfect all the way through. Anyway, this is my jam. Thank you to my good friend Lil' Duenas for bringing this to my attention.

The new record by Xiu Xiu comes out on 2/23 on Kill Rock Stars and I'm kinda into it. At least what I've heard, which is limited to the above video. This song is so weird, but oddly melodic. Cold Cave 'Life Magazine' Video

Everybody's favorite song from Cold Cave's Love Comes Close LP just got a video. Matador just premiered this weirdo gem for 'Life Magazine. It's directed by Ben Chappell and Aaron Brown of Focus Creeps. Evidently 'Life Magazine' is going to be released as a single soon and you can read all about it and their crazy amount of new dates announced on the Matador site.







For the record, my favorite song from LCC is 'Youth And Lust', but it's pretty much a perfect record anyways so who cares.
