Milkfat Films Launch, Promos For The Muslims, The Prayers And Skull Kontrol

In about a week, Milkfat Films will be launching their first series of videos and shorts. Included will be promo videos for The Prayers' "Clandestino", The Muslims' "Extinction", and a promo for the club Skull Kontrol @ Live Wire in San Diego.

Milkfat Films is a film company based in Los Angeles and founded by our longtime friends Felipe Lima Ashley Fenton Russ Finkestein and Megan Fenton, the four of which have put together these promos.

Skull Kontrol @ Live Wire. Free. Goofballs Sir Charles (The Prayers & The Vultures) and Mario Orduno (Art Fag Recordings) are preparing a fine, FINE supply of punk, oldies, rap, noisy nuggets, brit pop, rock steady and all things holy. Arrive b4 10 to grab a seat, come b4 12 to make out with one of these "A" holes or they'll be making out with each other (Oh brother!).

FRIDAY

Tim Mays of the Casbah is bringing together some of San Diego's most fun djs for this impromptu and FREE party this Friday. It promises to be an oddball mix of styles from the people behind Skull Kontrol, Jive Wire, One Nation and very special guests are on board to dick jockey the night. SATURDAY

We <3 The Tower Bar. Get with it. Saturday night cum see Australia's The Scare, along with The Vultures and Fifty On Their Heels. The Skullz are offering trebly pulsations that you don't own (along with ones you forgot about). $5.

SUNDAY

Geez loo eez!! Just rest, sweetie!! Oh fuck it, don't rest. Go see Kill Me Tomorrow's Dan and Zack as they host SD's fine FINE FINE jazz N blues night, Night Of The Cookers. You never know what drunken jerk is going to roll into this place, The Whistle Stop on Sunday. We love The Whistle Stop on the Lord's day...you know, after services and stuff? Oh one more thing! Dan gets the freakiest films for the big screen and TV. Secret clue: he's kinky!

Art Fag update and shit.

So things are pleasantly busy at Art Fag HQ. The Prayers records are getting fine reviews and orders are coming in. Thanks to those who ordered Art Fag stuff, tell a friend!! The Vultures record is done and sounds great. I think everyone will be pleased. Check two songs out on Myspace (ms/officialvultures). If you missed The Vultures perform at Beauty Bar the other night, you truly missed out. They sound better than ever. There are three more chances in the California area this week. Don't miss!!

Vultures Campaign

The Vultures have just finished recording their nine song debut for Art Fag. And people actually want them to play out of town, like in San Francisco on July 13th & 14th or in Los Angeles at The Fuck Yeah Festival on August 24th-26th. They will continue to fool people on Saturday July 7th at The Beauty Bar with Cat Dirt & 50.






The Living Desert: The Muslims & The Vultures are back again at The Casbah. Skull Kontrol is on the tables, and Roman Spring are providing appetizers.

The skullz have not been very loving to the blogosphere. It's because this magic weekend includes three record release parties, we're moving, I have the flu, The Prayers taped their first video and on top of that we're lazy.
